The Anthem on the Peace (HL 14001946)
An anthem composed in celebration of the Peace of Aix-la-Chapelle, first performed in the Chapel Royal on the 25th of April, 1749, during a service attended by the King and other members of the Royal Family. Written for SAA (or SAATB) soli, SATB chorus and orchestra, this vocal score contains a piano reduction of the orchestral score. Edited by Donald Burrows.
